Description: This is a game that was created for the submission of the 2023 Global Game Jam in Boston, MA.

The theme was Laugh so we thought what could be more hilarious than playing Rock, Paper, Scissors with a Creepy Murderous Clown. I mainly helped with the concept design, and programming the initial rock paper scissors logic of the game and its UI.

Responsibilities:

Game Designer
  • Created the concept of playing rock paper scissors with a clown who might cheat and even have some funky animations that might give away their hand if the player is paying attention to his voice lines and animations.
  • Lead our 2D artist/animator and voice acted lines for the clown so that we create the system where we can give hints for the player towards which hand is coming next thanks to the clown.
  • Created a game that is usually randomized but can be controlled if the player catches on to the clown’s actions.

Programmer:

  • Programmed the Main UI of the game (Main Menu, Options, Pause Menu, Settings, Credits)
  • Helped with the Programming and set up of the animations of the clown using Timeline in Unity.
